Sonship

(excerpt) What is sonship? Gal. 4:6 tells us: “And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying out, Abba, Father!” In other words, the sonship is the formation of Christ in us. He has been sent into my heart—not just into my spirit, but into my heart. I am one with Him. I am loving Him. Christ has been formed in my heart as the object of my love and attention.

I was meditating on these verses just this morning..

"Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! [fn] Therefore the world does not know us, [fn] because it did not know Him.
Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is." (1 John 3:1-2).

NOW are we Children (and Sons) of God! What we shall be has not be revealed, but it will be glorious!
Let us live in the reality that we are His children NOW, not in the future. He cares and provides for us every day, like (better than) any good father does.
