I have noticed these words cropping up in my various readings and listening to the radio and I began thinking about what do they mean exactly. Maybe I should google them? lol.
To me evangelical means someone who says they are born again and witness to others about their faith and seek to bring others to Jesus. They may or may not be involved somehow in politics as well or push for Christian thought in the realm of politics.
Non evangelical to me seems like either a person has been born again but desires not to witness because their faith is too personal to them and they don't wish to put their beliefs on others. They may also be someone one attends church alot but isn't born again and just goes through the motions and maybe even look down on those who witness of Jesus to others.
Post Evangelical seems to me of those who were evangelical at one time and have gone the way of the non evangelical. They probably live a righteous life but they don't tell others about it?
I get a kick out of the labels and sometimes I wonder just how valuable they are in understand where someone is in relation to God.
