Jesus said you honor me with your lips but your heart is
far from me.....What does this mean?

It means they have a spirit of hypocrisy.
They profess to know Him, yet in their hearts do not know Him at all. Their religion is vain.

hi,1234 salvation is having an intimate relationship with Jesus that produces change in our lives. if you respond to a message about the flames of hell and come forward and pray a prayer of salvation; you are still in the egocentric self presurvation mode which has nothing to do about Jesus...repentance is turning the rule of your life over to Jesus,,, when one enters the covenant of marriage they enter into an intimacy when they give themselves freely to each other. this is what we need in our relationship with Jesus to know Him.jimp
