dear croref, there is a mistranslation in the verse. the word on is en in the greek.the manuscripts have eis which is into. so we believe into Jesus.jimp

Thank you, jimp however, now that you brought it to my attention and if i were to re-write it, I would use the preposition "of" as is given in Gal 2:20 in the KJV.

Paul lived by the Faith OF Jesus Christ that could move mountains. That is the gift of Faith listed by him as one of the 9 Pentecostal gifts of the Spirit__not to be confused with saving faith which we must have for our initial salvation__for which the critical Greek does not make the distinction. This insight is the main reason for making the KJV the main translation.

Living by the Faith of Jesus Christ is to live by His Life which is just another way of saying one loves God with all his heart, soul, mind, and strength__His Faith being the reciprocal.

I don't believe you will. It is all about, in a word, "intimacy" per the pursuit of John 17:3..
