a poem

Creatures, lumps of clay,

bound to wander all our days.

Unless the Secret dwells within,

The One who makes us more than men.

Why stay an unproductive soul?

Living in bondage for years untold.

Seek ye His face and His reality.

The Truth who brings us past humanity.

Our frailness and feebleness, it remains.

But greater still is the Life my body contains.

His Presence indwelling is all I need.

My Value is found inside His Seed.

(2Cor. 4:7, Jn. 15:4, Col. 1:27)
