Are John Ankerberg and Wayne Barber credible teachers of the gospel? Just wondering.

I am not sure why you would put these 2 brothers together in this post, I am not sure about Ankerberg but I read on the other brother on his site and there seems nothing out of place. In the end we are not the judges of validators of ministries and men on the forums here and I would encourage against this always being done. To the Master each man stands or falls and we do not know every ministers private life.

Wayne Barber is a graduate of Mars Hill College where he also played on the basketball team. He attended Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky and Asbury Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. He received an honorary doctorate from North Florida Baptist Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, FL.
Wayne has pastored in Kentucky, Louisiana, South Carolina, Mississippi and Tennessee. For 18 years, he was pastor of Woodland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN. While there, he developed a special relationship with Jack and Kay Arthur, founders of Precept Ministries. Wayne served as co-teacher with Kay for 14 years at Precept Ministries.
He learned to exegete Scripture by studying for 10 years with Spiros Zodhiates, one of the leading Greek scholars. During that time, Wayne hosted a radio and TV program, New Testament Light, with Dr. Zodhiates.
Wayne has taught the message of “Living Grace” around the world. He is president, founder, and principal speaker of Living Grace Ministries. He is Senior Pastor of Woodland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN.
Wayne and his wife, Diana, were married in 1969. They have two children, Steven (married to Ann) and Stephanie (married to Erik), and five wonderful grandchildren!
Wayne has authored several books, the most recent one published by Broadman and Holman is entitled Living Grace: Letting Jesus Be Jesus In You. He has also co-authored the Following God series of studies published by AMG.
John Ankerberg is essentially a Christian apologist similar to men like Walter Martin unless he has radically changed in recent years. Not sure why these two men are lumped together. They have a different focus.
I should have provided further explanation. Wayne Barber is doing a series in Christ living through you on the John Ankerberg Show. From tbe promos Wayne Barber sounded good. But did nit know anything about him.
I used to watch John Ankerberg years ago but stopped doing so. Can't say why. Just a season. I would like to watch the Barber series. But wondered if Ankerberg was still solid. I am out of the loop on lott of things. So put the question to the forum. That is why I asked about Ankerbergg and Barber. Hope this clarifies.

I love the sermons of Dr. Charles Stanley. I would like to know more about him if you´d like to answer it.
What do you think the fact he sells his sermons in his website?
Is he not preaching little about sin?
I agree with you, respectfully I hope it is not the case of judgement but discernment.
i would not be quik to judge a minister or preacher based upon if they sell their sermons online or not. there could be many reasons for doing this and that would be between the minister and god. most of us have no clue how much it costs to operate a ministry and in sum small way this could be a way in which the minister pays the bills and keeps the lights on. he could choose to offer his sermons online for a small amount so he duznt have 2 beg for donations. many have made the choice to give their materials way, many have not. who are we to judge?
