It is true we will not know the hour nor the day but we are to know the times and the seasons.
However this is not my point and I would like to gently ask us to take stock of where we are at, where we are really at.
You may be aware that God invites those from his last move to join his current move forward, however the acceptance to the invitation is normally abismally low.
Personaly I do not want to miss out on what God is doing, and yet I have no single redeeming feature that warrants being included. It is also my only hope of inclusion.
What am I talking about? Prior to the welsh revival, the Pentecostal revival and all other revivals the most recent move being founded from the most recent revival was asked or invited to join what God was doing.
David Wilkerson and others have been instruments to call the church out of religion, idolatry, and a "little folding of the hands". This reference is from a scripture that illuminates the church suggesting that people would prefer to sleep than to be awake and fight the good fight.
Where are we? I don't know. I know it has started but I do not see it yet. I think this is because of my spiritual condition and yet I ask the Lord to have mercy as I dont want to be caught up in this Disney gospel or worse something that is not as obvious as coming from the pit.
I find it amazing that John looked at the whore of babylon and was in amazement and had to be warned off her by an angel.
This is not a queston of where are you? as if I was in a better place but will you join me in asking and answering the question Where am I? and how do I get to where the Lord would have me?
I also ask that we do not respond from a theological perspective of can we loose our salvation or where we are does not matter because our conscience should be screaming something quite different.
We all know pornography is rife in the church, the current way we put men on pedestals causes them to fall almost as often as not.
May I ask that we pray to honestly see where we are in God, to be courageous and to be honest.
If my people which are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and turn from the their wicked way...
Can I also ask that we fashion ourselves on the advice given in Gods word "to this man or woman will I look........."
If this rings a loud bell for you, may I ask that you sound the bell in your church community. Some of you may find the church responds or the community you are in others may find only one or two, these are your brothers and sisters who will wait on God for your calling and you for them. Not just that of course waiting on God for his direction.
May God bless you as you consider my request or should I say this request as it is on the hearts of many I think, let us sound the alarm. Atleast wait on God to see what he says about this, which I guess should have been my message. Anyway you get the idea, blessings from down under.
