Upon reading your post brother I find myself repeatedly coming back to a sobering reality. I had thought in the past that this doctrine of utterance which you present (a thing giving rise to reality, and which increasing numbers of saints are being taught to practise) was limited in some way and would find no power in those things which are self evidently excluded from that doctrine. So over the past twelve months or so I have read every one of your posts, all of which without exception, have been to an end of presenting this doctrine of utterance. I have noticed that over that time you have been persistent without being in any way contentious.
In your posts, speech is presented as a power in itself and there are key scriptures which form the central presentation of it. Also you are now quoting King David in Psalm 141:3 to link the heart and the mouth together in a way which may seem very convincing, but I would claim is rather dangerous and is more likely to give rise to deception than real faith. The danger is in the way you are linking the heart and the mouth, with real physical events.
The eyes and the ears are the outward instruments of receiving knowledge into the soul. What you see and hear is of course dependent on who is speaking and what is being spoken or presented. The heart is the principle recipient of knowledge brought in this way. Every occultist and sorcerer understands this. To which cause every sorcerer and occultist knows perfectly well that if they speak that which they cannot quiet fathom, the speaking of it in their own hearing, will make for a fuller understanding of what they have received directly through the air into their minds, but which, as I say, they cannot yet quiet understand. Upon the point when they hear the expression of their mouths wrestling to understand occult knowledge, their very life blood is stirred and they are then able to express previously incomprehensible “mysteries” as though they understood them perfectly. To the hearer of such utterances it is a shorter route to knowledge and a guarantee for the sorcerer to be held in fear and respect amongst men, as well as a way for the sorcerer to lift himself up in his own hearing and often to learn something for the first time himself.
That my friend is the essence of the occult and the function of a sorcerer, apart from whatever ambitions they may egotistically have, or the love of money, they are rewarded by the prince of the power of the air precisely because they are the heralds of his poisonous doctrines. It is important to remember in all of this, that Satan is not an originator. He is a counterfeiter. His prophets may not even be physically false, they may be real physical prophets, yet by their speech and the effect of their speech they serve to turn God’ people away from dependence on God Himself, and to other things which take on an idolatrous meaning and outworking.
The subliminal imputation and direction of anything written or spoken is just as real as the words themselves. It is not the mouth to the heart, not even the heart to the mouth, but rather the mouth to the ear, and thence to the heart which is actually being presented in your posts. What you appear not to know is that this self directed method of inspiring faith to believe, is occult and has nothing to do with having an ear to hear, or a heart to believe or a mouth to speak. It is pure occult methodology as practised by sorcerers. Indeed it is the very essence of sorcery even in ones own hearing. It is that which has come through the air to the mind, which forms the most substantive frame of reference for success which any sorcerer can understand. Moreover it attends to the very nature of destruction. “It is not that which goes into the body which destroys, rather that which comes out of the mouth”. We all have wicked and improper thoughts. If they were left in the heart and were never spoken, they would be dealt with through prayer or at very least limited in their effect. The moment they come out of the mouth they destroy both the one who speaks and hears, as well as the one who hears and yet does not speak.
Are the words spoken here in this quote, which Mary “heard”, the words of Mary or the words of Gabriel. Brother the intention was yours in these words.
These words sound just fine until you realise and understand that the “door of the lips” is the heart itself and that David is simply asking the Lord to guard his heart. (Psalm 141:4).
If we take the most profound example which you have shared on this doctrine of utterance it becomes very clear that what you are claiming of Mary, as an example, is simply not true. Your understanding of it is informed by a doctrine of utterance.
"Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favour with God. “And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. “He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end.” Luke 1:30-33.
Prior to this prophecy of Gabriel Mary heard the words, “Greetings favoured one, the Lord is with you” (v28) to which Mary did not speak, but wondered what sort of a greeting she had just heard, this wondering gave rise to momentary concern. Then Gabriel prophesies verses 30-33 as above; to which prophecy Mary expresses her inability to comprehend how the prophecy could be physically possible (v34) then Gabriel gives the explanation “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy Child shall be called the Son of God (v35) concluding “for nothing will be impossible with God” (v37). Only then does Mary speak the words “Behold, the bondslave of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your word (v38).
Intellectually all of this could be said to agree with your claim about the mouth being the principle instrument in faith and therefore the principle instrument in life. Not excluding the heart in this dichotomy simply necessitates a remembrance, that if the “door of the lips” is guarded, or else kept, the mouth simply doesn’t utter falsehood. So therefore where is the lie in all of this?
It is in the air. It is waiting in the air for just the right moment of opportunity to come into the mind of the reader and it is this!
“Mary could have refused to do God’ will.”
“You will be like God.....”
No such possibility to refuse to do God’ will actually exists (Psalm 115:3). For the one who believe that such a will is possible and lawful they are yet in rebellion. Gabriel didn’t come to ask permission, he was sent to declare the will of God. Mary submitted to the will of God and obediently agreed with the words of an archangel, who himself spoke according to the full and firm intention of God; according to a prophecy of Isaiah (7:13-16), who spoke by the same power and intention of Almighty God. No where in the whole universe is there a person who has the right to deny God. Or of whom God needs to ask permission of.
What lies at the heart of the doctrine of utterance is an understanding by some men, formerly obedient and gifted, that God Himself acts according to His own prophets, when He chooses to do so. If such a man is given then the Lord will not let his word fall to the ground. Samuel was established on such a basis for his day even from his youth. Isaiah was brought to a state of complete wretchedness before God, so that he would comprehend that he was a man of unclean lips. Christ Himself as a prophet was established according to this same principle even though He knew no sin and never did speak foolishly or falsely. In the case of The Lord is was a determination of obedience. In the case of Samuel it was a determination of God from Samuel’ youth. In the case of Isaiah it was a being brought suddenly to a place wherein he could no longer trust his own speech, only then could he be sent. What is happening today does not produce humility or a true comprehension of God’ or His Righteous Glory, it is producing boastings and giving rise to a generation of babylonian sorcerers carousing in their flesh and profiting from the knowledge of God without comprehending the enemy of God, or God Himself.
To apply the knowledge of a relationship between the mouth and the ear, and between the ear and the heart and to confuse that with faith is a delusion of some magnitude.
No brother the door way of the heart is the ear and the eye. The spirit is an other thing altogether.
No brother “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”. Only then is the mouth able to speak that which is revealed to the heart, by the Holy Spirit through hearing the word which has opened the ear of the heart. God Himself never works through the physical body in that way. Those who are sent by God of necessity must speak, but their speech is in obedience to God’ will if they are true prophets and serves to lay hold of a man for the only purpose of God Himself laying hold of the man in the inner parts. The means is grace, the power given to believe is faith and the only possible response is confession. This is true faith. The other thing is Satan’ counterfeit borne out of rebellion against God.
Its not without reality that all those who confess this doctrine of utterance also run after signs and wonders; the two principle things which in these so called prophetic utterances attend to the ear and the eye. The Lord rebuked multitudes at times for their evil desire in going after signs and wonders. When you consider that these signs and wonders, both of speech and miracles were of the Lord Himself, thats quiet a thing. When you further consider that these words of the Lord and deeds of the Lord were the very evidence of His being the Christ, it goes beyond mere interest.
Forgive me brother. I have no knowledge of your personal intentions nor can I question them. The reality is I know many believers who really do have a desire to serve God and yet are completely lost in this doctrine of utterances. Their lives are often truly contrary to their repeated boastings about God, because they believe that in such boastings they are releasing blessings into their lives. Yet almost all of the brethren I know in this mind are in debt and struggle in many ways. When someone seeks to bless them and to relieve disappointment it becomes a cause of stumbling rather than a true blessing. Rather than seeing the simplicity of an intention, they say “look I am blessed” in the hearing of those, who then stumble themselves. It is not a doctrine which gives rise to equality, but to the most insidious division possible, even jealously. Having wealth on the other hand does not of itself cause stumbling to one whose confidence is in Christ Himself, and not in their own mouths. Beyond that it is contributing to apostasy because brethren are practicing natural witchcraft instead of seeking to really understand, as well as walk by faith.
