Is Words and how we understand them really important ?

Can they lead us into a different "way"than was meant to be ?

Do we really need to take a renewed look at words,that seem to be just tossed around, and believe that we are truly seeing their right/ original/ God-thought-out meaning,...
or truth meaning to that Word, according to the way God sees it,and not a repetitive...(.the way man has trained us to believe it to be )?

The very importance of Words,..especially the Words of God.
In the beginning of time,God,who is ,..Word / Spirit,spoke the Word,forth / and brought the world and the things in it,into place.

It was He who made the words for us to speak.even when He changed
languages to different people's,....still words,with meanings.

And we can just throw around our words,..although we will have to give account for every idle word,but I am really speaking of
...The word of God,....?..How important !
Could that mean,..really life / death in how our understanding important
Words in the Bible,and how they are used there ?

Jesus,came forth speaking WORD'S,(Gospel) ,....the Spirit / Word is what makes us One with Him,as the Spirit Word made him One with the Father.

Am I asking these things to so show you what I know?
If I can read my heart,absolutely NOT !
What I learn is His,..not mine.
I just feel thy are of utmost importance.

Yes,I can see,to be able to understand Jesus' speaking's ,...His WORD's
and seeing it through the Spirit,(the way He see's the WORD's that He speaks, and through His Spirit that He has given to us,..serrendering to His will,we can be changed into His image.,...from glory to glory.

I was thinking of Peter, to see him seeing the Word the way Jesus sees it,and then again the very next paragraph he does not see the Word that Jesus speaks as Jesus wants it understood...through the eye's of the Spirit.

First Jesus ask him :

Jesus ask Peter, "Who do you say that I Am ?"
And Peter said,"Thou art the Christ,the Son of the Living God"
And Jesus said to him,"Flesh and blood hath not revealed this unto you,
but the Spirit did reveal this to Peter.
And Jesus told him," That upon this Rock I will build My church,"....It is upon this Spirit,revealed Word / Rock ,..revealed through the the eye of the Spirit, seeing as He see's,that He would build His church,from glory to glory,(His people changed into His image) " And I will give unto thee the 'keys' to the kingdom of heaven".....Allowing him (Peter ) to go into the kingdom,and helping others to find the door.

But it was so amazing,that Jesus had just spoke these great things to Peter
and the very next paragraph,Peter begin's to start thinking the cares of this life,..fleshly,and not seeing in the Spirit,and Jesus rebukes him sharply,
Calling Peter Satan,and telling him ,he was an offence unto Him,and that
Peter did not savior the things that 'be of God,'(savior things of the Word / Spirit ) not decerning the Word,through the Spirit that He spoke but by the way of the natural men.

But Peter was a deciple ( a learner ) at this time,.. Pentecost had not come yet. He was teaching Peter to be always and forever spiritually minded....to decern His Word through the Spirit.

("The Word's that I speak unto you, they are Spirit and they are Life" )

I fully agree. Personally I didn't see the signifcance of it for a long time, and how it relates to the reality of what we see and have to deal with today. Someone that understood that already 20 or 30 years ago is Jim Searchy at moresureword.com - and that's one of the best explanations of him i ever read:

"Faith coming by hearing, and hearing by the dynamic equivalence of alternate renderings does NOT produce faith. God promised an EVERY WORD PERFECT HOLY BIBLE. The WORDS are important, and there is no equivalence dynamic or otherwise, for the Word of God. John 6:63 - It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the WORDS that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. Rom 1:17 - For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. I feel that there is an urgency to continue.

To look at some very dire and important WORD's and seeing how they were used in Truth/The word.,...and maybe not in the way they have been taught by man...spoon fed ,...through the exceptence of time and through the generations...but a SEEING,...through His eyes.

Because we are set out on a journey,..A Way,...a path,...sandals on our feet,...Walk,...our feet,...

"Truth/The word.,...and maybe not in the way they have been taught by man"

Elibeth, there is an expression used by God that comes to my mind, that is regarded to be "bad style" in a literary criticism sense, taught by man. I'm sure there are others, however this one stuck in my mind as being profound, backed up by actual experience in that regard which validated the revelation received.

It's about: 1 John 4:1-3 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Many critics have said it's a funny way of saying "is come" and it would be better to say "did come" or "has come". Little do they realize that these expressions would fail the test of The Spirit.

Why? We would know the difference if we actually put it to the test and ask a satanist that pretends to be a christian to say it. They have no problem with the historical Jesus, that lived like a man, and died like a man. They can reference him without a hitch. What makes the test of the spirits useless in a real life application.

The actual test of the spirits is in the KJV Holy Bible, and the difference of the true test here is whether Jesus Christ is alive today, now - or not. It's talking about the resurected Jesus that is God, not the man Jesus. So "is come: means he is the resurrected one, that sent his Holy Spirit that is now present in the room, this very moment. That is what the whole test is about.

I've seen people talk around these exact words in a way they can avoid to say it verbatim, therefore outing themselves, which is confirmed by a busy preacher that has cast out many unclean spirits from hundreds of people, he has made the same experience that they cannot say it without a hitch, and he comments:

"Did Come is true - But FAILS the test of the Spirit.
Has Come is true - But FAILS the test of the Spirit.

The only way of passing THE test of the Spirit is - Jesus Christ IS come in the flesh. That IS come is very important. IS come, is a confession that Jesus Christ IS the I AM, who spoke to Moses from the burning bush, and wrote the 10 commandments in stone for Moses with His Finger. That IS COME means that Jesus Christ is GOD the Creator AND Redeemer, very God the Son of the Father, who took flesh upon Himself to become the Lamb of God, the Perfect and ONLY acceptable sin offering."

My comment: This example is a spiritual example that God reveals through the words and expressions ONLY HE uses, and has a true practical application to sort out antichrist spirits. Myself I would have joined the literary critics that think its funny and "bad style" gramatically, without any further relevance. But the moment I saw His truth in an instance, I understood that these things are not revealed to the carnal mind, it only starts to make sense when it's "openend for you". John: Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

...Not only the ideas that were expressed right then and there when those words were spoken, they also convey eternal principles about morals, about the counsel of God, about His character.

And there, is the Lord God Almighty, the Holy one of Israel.
Our redeemer and our deliverer.

When someone realizes that, then they might as well pray the prayer of Daniel (9:6-19)

I have so many things that I would like to write in response.

That, that seeing / understanding be worked in us,through the Spirit.

I believe, if we get instructions in " THE WAY " in which to go,and we truly do not understand what the instructor is saying,....He says some words,..and showing us THE WAY and we go in "a way" instead,....we take that Word differently than He meant,maybe in the the way the world / human nature sees it the way down through the time and generations have seen it ,not sought the Holy Spirit ...what then ..?...Is it not detrimental ?

And please,I am not being weird here,..I am speaking truth and necessity.

Words are just words, but when faith is applied to the Word the Spirit behind the Word is than activated to the believer.

The written Word and the indwelling Word work hand in hand.

If I'm understanding you correctly I believe you are speaking about the revelation of the Spirit that transcends mere language, it is a knowledge of God by revelation of the Holy Spirit in our spirit. We can have a clever presentation of God's word by natural ability and never get into spiritual life.

I would say as Proudpapa said,..It is both together..and the Spirit of that Word.

Jesus speaking,"the Words that I speak unto you, They are Spirit and they are Life."

He also says,
I Am the WAY, the TRUTH,and the LIFE.

"I Am the WAY, ..( with His Words that he speaks to us,. (The Way),..which is " Truth "He is showing us "the Way", through His Spirit,Truth, Words) ,that we might have "Life")
