speechless, grieved, heartbroken, have they NO fear of God?

sermonindex Mar 19, 2013

i was in youtube, looking for the old Gospel song, "Victory is Mine", and i stumbled upon this terrible witness, and i thought it wise to put it up here as form of warning, of what NOT to do, a spirit to pray against, as God is to be MOCKED?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7uyIt__v_60

sermonindex Mar 19, 2013

Those elements of this compilation which are self evidently intended as a mockery, of those elements which were intended in their day, to be real, are all equally false.

They are all actors and they are all acting out of their souls. Regardless of the intention, either to deceive, in the case of KC & RHB for example, or the "actors" at the beginning of the clip and at the very end, it is all of the soul. It is hidden and visible deception. The saddest part is not that God is mocked, by taking the Father' name in such a way, it is because those who do truly take the Lord' name intentionally through time and for gain, have caused the greatest offence by causing others to blaspheme and mock the Father.

Do they, "the actors" fear God? No clearly not! Do they "the deceivers" fear God? No clearly not! If they did none of them would have pressed on for more than a few seconds before realising their error.

Edit: Just wanted to add that by actors I mean those parts which are self evidently a wilful and visible deception, such as the KC tongues dialogue, rather than those who are led on in an excess of soulish deception, which may have seemed like something of God to them. Actors (deceivers) leading (deceived) actors.

Greetings Neil

I could not watch all of the clip because it just grieved me so but as I was watching I was thinking if these men and woman were teaching and leading in the religious churches of yesterday then it is no wonder that just a generation later we have videos of young people doing the Harlem shake in churches today and being deceived into thinking they do so for GOD.

I pray we will see how short time is and how desperately we have need for JESUS. There is no other answer for this illness(sin) that has infected many churches then returning to JESUS and repenting of sins.

Thank you for sharing with us.

God bless

you discerned EXACTLY the reason i would even DEIGN to post such hellish and deplorable conduct by people i regard as akin to the 'sons of sceva'

you wrote:

but as I was watching I was thinking if these men and woman were teaching and leading in the religious churches of yesterday then it is no wonder that just a generation later we have videos of young people doing the Harlem shake in churches today and being deceived into thinking they do so for GOD.

here i was on youtube, looking for a really nice rendition of an old time Gospel song, "Victory is Mine" (which i DID find, Bless God).....but on the right side of the screen, MANY similar offerings to what i posted....and i started to watch.....and i'm no pharisee, i dont possess a hard brittle religioustic temperament, but i felt first this fury...a holy fury, which i stepped on, and i also felt...i've seen a day, when private Bible ownership will be made illegal, and a "church" cant stand, unless it has the imperatur, a stamp of approval from some evil form of antichrist 'polis'....which would mean it is no church at all, but a dark counterfeit.....and i found myself LONGING for that day, when i watched THIS ONE and others.....LONGING for that day...which will be the day, the goats go that way....and the sheep go This Way, which will be The Way.

STILL today...i cant get the imagery of what that "c3 church" posted on youtube as the 'harlem shake'...titled, 'Jesus versus the devil'.....a lil chubby white girl, impish grin, wearing horns, upper left frame...dancing...skinny pale white boy on the cross...looks like he just come from the starbucks...then the "victory"...which was just ridiculous..but the most unsettling thing was a figure, front camera frame, crossing right to left.....a figure wearing some animal head mask, looking directly at camera.

...AND THATS OUR WITNESS?!

but the "cherry" on this whole cake of dung, was the pushback, from posters on this forum, coz the dear children of God, called that mess what it was...blasphemous, frivolous, and sinful....and they wrote and argued, how anyone that has problems with this is just full of judgement, etc etc etc.....said posters, you know who you are....repent!

that said, keep your eye on this mess in Cyprus...this could the fuse that lights a lot of big bad ugliness.

Someone said it perfectly in one of the remarks below the video "These are the signs of the times that the end is near". Really sad thing is, folks tithe and give to those ministries, you have to wonder how lost they are also, the lost leading the lost.

Dear sister MJ,
i've always relished our interchanges on this forum, they HAVE been a blessing!...and especially when i read this what you wrote to me:

as you said this could be a fuse.[Cyprus, my add] I don't know for sure but I do know in prayer is where I need and want to be. I know you feel the same way Neil and spend many hours before the LORD.

oh yes! amen, and if what i'm about to testify seems like "boasting", i'm boasting in the LORD, fore it is Him, that puts this hunger IN me, and what cherished Time it is. When i was getting sifted and tested in the 2008-10 period, He never took this Hunger away from me, and i thank and praise him in all humility and love.

He had to break me and test me, in 2008-2010 period, i never ask Him "why?"....it doesnt occur to me as...."Thy Will be done"....not my will.

in 2008, God brought me to death's door...test this gift of Faith.....laying on a gurney, 50/50 chance to live, and instead of weeping and pleading, HIS Holy Spirit in me, had me joyous at either prospect...Thy Will be done Lord, "whatever it is, whether to come Home to You...i'm Yours! Stay here for whatever purpose You have for me...i'm Yours!!!...i was wrapped in His Joy of NOT KNOWING!!! i wanted to praise Him, therefore i called for a chaplain....i didnt want prayer for healing...i needed a brother in Christ to join with me in PRAISE!!!...i do believe i frightened that dear man very much, as here my life was in peril and i was filled with JOY!!

becoz, "Either way, i am YOURS!!!...which is a Deeper Revelation of the Gospel...i am now FREED from the bondage of the fear of death.....thanks be to God, these chains were cut, upon the Truth the City i seek is the Heavenly Jerusalem, in this body or out of this body

in 2009, he was pleased to break me further....took away my earnings, and like Paul, i have learned thru Him, what it is like to be with and be without...content...the homer of manna was there every morning....then my mentor, in earnestness offered me the care takers position in a new church in california, to live there, study, and grow, but i had grown to "idolize" my mentor, who is a man lke me, and God doesnt want us having idols, so, without hardly any funds, i was driven away by circumstance, back to Chicago...a sort of "lachish"...to live penniless in a basement bunker apartment in amongst the "philistines".

so again, i prayed, "if its Your will, bring me into the land of milk and honey....May 2011, thru a miracle, God bought me a wonderful large cabin and 6 acres on a desolate ridge, in the Driftless Region of Wisconsin.

and thru all those few years, every morning, he NEVER took that hunger away from me, in the Word of God, and thru prayer, getting to KNOW the God of the Word!!!

Since may of 2011, to this veryday, Jesus and i have gone deeper, i asked for what Moses had, to talk with Him face to face, as man talks with his friend, and i have been gifted That!!!

Human words are inadequate to describe the shalom i experience being with Him between 3 Am and 12 noon...the hours vary....this is Precious Time to me, it is a cherished Gift.

Since God has given me the Gift of pen, He has given me, so far Two Books to write....i say He has given them, because the revelations couldnt have come out of my mind...oh no. God impressed upon my heart, to go thru His Word, and dig out, the "Attributes"
the Attributes of Yahweh, of Messiah and of us, the followers of Jesus....because i wanted to know Who He is, who Jesus is, and who we are supposed to be,

ask and it will be given.

Then in late November 2012, he gave me "The Basis'"

there is a holy architecture to prayer, praise and worship, so i am on my second go around thru the New Testement, marking, as led by the Spirit,

the basis of prayer
the basis of praise

and when i walked into the Revelation of John, the basis of woe, which is grief, which is sorrow, which is the realization, that sometimes ALL we are allowed to say, is "Your Will Shall be done", there fore every mouth shall be silenced.

so yes, That Time with Yahweh is most precious.

oh, i'm spent, God bless you for allowing me to testify to you, May God have the Glory!!!

DEADn Mar 20, 2013

In watching this video I am reminded of my 'glory' days in my faith. The 90's for me. Not long after attending an Assemblies of God church I began to see some of those preachers promoted and so I listened to see what they were doing and something just seemed weird but I couldn't put my finger on it.
The Rodney Browne part of it, yeah, I spent some 6 weeks in his meetings at Carpenter's Home Church in Lakeland, Florida. He even did baptisms of the Holy Ghost. In this case he would say the 'word' and the Holy Ghost was supposed to baptism the person. In this case he did several people at a time. The air was cold, I remember because my cousin wanted to get baptized and I told her no because she has a cold already.

I look at these people and just shake my head and really wonder where are they now?

I don't keep up with Christendom as I used to because if I did I would have more heartache and I really don't need more of that in my life when it comes to Christianity. What is sadder is the people who follow hook line and sinker.

I used to have a friend who was all over Morris Cerillo and Ken Copeland and Hagin. Don't dare say anything negative because life and death are in the power of the tongue. She developed cancer and died a year later. He tongue was apparently powerless and she spoke in other tongues-though she thought. Another reason why I have questioned whether tongues exist or not.

WHat saddens me, more than anything, is that after coming here for almost a decade is how the same topics get brought up over and over and over again. And we make a relevant but commenting on it.

Its like there is sick obsession with telling everyone how bad some 'christians' behave. Ask yourself sincerely, what for? To warn others. Oh Please! I can tell you that no one who comes onto these forums consistantly is involved in this stuff.

Ask yourself the question when last did you see a positive post on here about normal folk who love Jesus who have an amazing outreach program to the poor.

Or a business man who has set up a training centre teaching entreupenurial skills to people.

And not necessarily about some saint who is about to beheaded for his faih in some country. Just normal people who are loving Jesus and people where they are. Probably never, its to boring for spiritual taste buds.

Seriously, we need to wise up start giving our thoughts and passion to things that Jesus is on about not this garbage.

Keep the main things the main things and we stay passionate for him and his church, all this stuff does stir up the saints and its certainly not to pray.

You know whats even sadder, folk will justify this by saying, 'I had this righteous anger!' Give me a break, most of the people who use that line have proabably never ever in their life been spurred by the righteous love that comes from Christ himself.

We are all hypocrits are hearts are a desperatley wicked and all this does is make us feel good about ourselves instead of beating our chests in brokeness.

Pray people, for your leaders seculary, in church, business, your families, your spouses, your children. The solution is Jesus Christ and him crucified. That we would all be broken vessels for him.

In watching this video I am reminded of my 'glory' days in my faith. The 90's for me. John

My glory days were the 80's but what you have said could be applied then just the same. When I first got saved I struggled to believe in the gift of tongues. In fact I was opposed to it. No idea why that was. I was in solitary confinement in goal with no knowledge of what tongues was. Not that I had heard tongues being used either, I just didn't believe it. I first heard of tongues through a letter from another inmate at a different goal. He wrote me about tongues when he got saved. I remember being incredibly against it, even the very instant I read the words. Then I read in Corinthians about tongues and that was just mental. Now I had a sudden crisis and for a few minuets I was faced with the problem of realising that tongues was right there in the scripture. Perhaps I had thought the other brother was lying or something, but now I realised that if it wasn't true, as I was still minded to think, then neither was the whole of scripture. I actually panicked and cried out to the Lord. In the end I decided to trust the Lord and not become a judge of the scriptures. If I had heard the madness on this video clip I cant imagine what I would have thought. One day without any warning I was just speaking in tongues. Its really sad what has happened. I hope that many of the people in this video were able to repent at some time or other. If not it may not bode well for them when the Lord comes. Being deceived in one thing, deceiving others knowingly is another.

I've grown wary of the personalities on TBN with a few exceptions. The ones I reject are those who use the donations they request from the listeners to buy themselves Mansions, multiple expensive Cars, and other exorbitant Luxeries, all paid by donations from viewers contributing to their ministry, expecting their money to help to evangelize, and to teach and spread God's WORD.

For example, Benny Hinn.

See 'Benny Hinn Exposed' on you tube, an NBC expose program.

My initial introduction to Benny Hinn's dishonesty was when he asked TV Viewers to send in contributions to his ministry, and to trace their right hand on a piece of white paper with their prayer request, and Benny Hinn informed them that he will place his hand on their hand print and pray for their request. CBS, or NBC, exposed that the address Benny Hinn gave them on TV was a professional collection agency, about a 3rd of the money goes to the collection agency, and two thirds ended up in Benny Hinn's bank account. The papers with the personal hand print and prayer request of the Donors went into the Trash Dumpsters of the collection agency. Nobody prayed for them, nobody put a hand on the donors hand prints.

In response to this expose, Benny Hinn apologized to his audience with the requisite, 'God I have Sinned' speech, and continued to collect great wealth for himself and his family..

Any money given to a thief, is not money given to God or any true charity. Beware and be wise with your donations to charity and supporting alleged Christian organizations.

However, I do have full confidence in our "SermonIndex'.

Your words echo the state of the soul. What do people gravitate to more: positive news or negative news? Even Christians unless you have been sheltered and then you live in a bubble.

When in the pulpit we heard good news and bad news yet what is it that we usually remember the most? the bad stuff. And if someone is mentioned as doing something bad it adds to that cause because our souls uses it to compare ourselves with them so we so we are a better person. Usually the more conservative you are the more this tends to apply because the more liberal you are the less you care about that and the more you get on with just living your life, type of thing. This is what I have noticed.
If you don't believe me contrast a very conservative church with one that is very liberal. Which church will have a person under the lock and chain more and which one gives a person a bit more freedom to make mistakes and work with it? I am somewhat generalizing this.

I hope I didn't just babble with this post, hehe

Ask yourself the question when last did you see a positive post on here about normal folk who love Jesus who have an amazing outreach program to the poor.

that is some ugly rhetoric directed my way. i notice you use these little slaps, like "oh please!" "give me a break"....so, reading that, going like you, which the 'ministry of assumption", i'd assume you're a white living in South Africa....and if i was to continue in the nasty ugly way you have, i'd assume you live behind high brick walls, razor wire atop, when you go out, you got a nine millimeter strapped to your waist....RIGHT?......wrong, i would NEVER assume that....or write to you ...LIKE THAT?...wouldnt even OCCUR TO ME! to write to you like that.....you should be ashamed of yourself.

more assumption from you, more immmaturity displayed, coz you actually THINK THIS MAKES ME FEEL GOOD ABOUT "MYSELF?!?

"feel good about myself?!?....puts me down on the floor BRU!!! face down!!...so dont you ever dare hand me a "rebuke", without actually having PLUMBED the depths of my heart, or how i was feeling IN CHRIST, when i did PRAYERFULLY post this.....this post was related to other issues, we had been discussing...on this discussion forum.

let me tell you something, i am more than eager to stand corrected, rebuked when i go astray....or forget this "ministry of reconcilliation"....i am MORE than willing to be TEACHABLE, when i utter things i dont know.

you dont know me, you dont my heart in Jesus, and this exchange tells me, i dont really want to have anything further to do with you, as you are right now, as the 'accuser'.

is that plain enough for you?

Probably not the wisest word you have written brother Zeke. This is what happens when we become spiritually bereft because of a heard heart and when we are heard hearted we become either frustrated or frustrated and angry. We almost always express our frustration on those we are most inlined to love. How it is that we can become heard hearted, either in the suddenness of the moment or through time is a matter for ones own conscience. Apart from that over rationalising a response to spiritual realities is a snare to the feet and will cause the one snared to stumble yet not necessarily with anger. Brother none us need to know about everyday life we all have it in abundance. What we need from one another is a deeper understanding of our common faith and how to deal with those things which grieve us. The fact brother that you can use the form of words "some saint about to be beheaded for his faith" should tell you that you are missing something yourself. Those words cannot be sound no matter about other things. I hope you see it brother.

By all means pray for my hard heartedness and my stubborn pride, by all means. I desire him and if your prayers are used for his glory praise God.

i was right, you ARE a white man in South Africa, probably an Afrikaaner, a Boer. the tip is that first sentence; "You guys, honestly, get over yourselves!!"

Boers set up English sentences ike that, with the "honestly" juxtaposed in the middle.

i was right, a Boer lecturing slash rebuking me, living in fear, behind 10 to 12 foot brick walls, gated communities, razor wire and a 9mm semi-auto pistol on his waist, or jacket pocket. Not that i have anything against a couple of good 9mm, 15 shot semi-auto pistols, except in that i believe anybody puts a standard FMJ 115 grain round in that clip, doesnt know what they're doing, because i only go with Speer Gold Dot hollow points...gives you that little extra punch.

is that unGodly? ....no, Jesus did say, "sell your cloak, buy a sword"...

whats "ungodly" is the tenor of your response, and i'm perfectly within my rights to tell you that, because brother Andrew, will tell you...that when i go wrong, respond wrong, write wrong, with a wrong spirit, without love in Jesus, and i'm CALLED on this, by a brother?

my first reflexive heartspace is to throw EGO RIGHT OUT THE WINDOW, and fall over myself in contrition, apology, begging forgiveness.....brother Andrew HIMSELF will testify to this, what i just wrote, if i sin, or speak wrong to another saint on ths forum, i long to keep the fellowship, even a cyber fellowship, rooted in Christ, in love, esteeming others ABOVE myself. a lesson you would do well to heed.

and it seems to me, its evident you CANT, and that is sad. i might understand why...you live in a world of fear, any Boer or Afrikaaner is living there on borrowed time, hiding behind the walls...and sir i HAVE "gotten over" myself, because i'm DEAD to myself. But i have no more desire to share anything of myself with you...and thats sad my bru.

but my heart is always open to you...your move. neil

We are all hypocrits are hearts are a desperatley wicked and all this does is make us feel good about ourselves instead of beating our chests in brokeness.

ZekeO, by your own confession, it appears that you have been convinced of some brand of theology that depends on insufficient sacrifices for cleansing from sin:

Heb 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
Heb 10:2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.

I was shocked one time when I went to a “Selah” concert in West Monroe, LA when one of the lead singers got up and openly spewed out the fact that he is one of the biggest hypocrites around. He was saying so to try to comfort all of the hypocrites present to think that somehow God’s greasy grace smudges over all such things …

The new life that Christ offers by His PERFECT sacrifice and the complete cleansing that He brings is NOT a life of hypocrisy! When Jesus truly resides inside the heart of a person :

Gál 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

such a person has gone through the deep process of repentance:

2Co 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
2Co 7:11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

Such a person has the same emotional reaction in the face of hypocrisy as his Master who is residing inside of him:

Joh 2:13 And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
Joh 2:14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
Joh 2:15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
Joh 2:16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.
Joh 2:17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.

Seriously, we need to wise up start giving our thoughts and passion to things that Jesus is on about not this garbage.

Keep the main things the main things and we stay passionate for him and his church, all this stuff does stir up the saints and its certainly not to pray.

By such a statement it is OBVIOUS that you do not know much about the real Jesus of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. I challenge you to read those books again, and notice how many passionate conversations that Jesus had with people just like the ones in the videos being discussed. Also observe how he talked about them behind their backs warning the disciples to beware of their leaven.

Jesus was grieved just as our brother Neil has been grieved at the blatant acts of hypocrisy committed by such charlatans.

If you ever have the experience of Christ being formed in you, you CANNOT HELP but feel and share the same grief because the Holy Ghost will be dwelling in you and grieving over such things and YES it will cause you to pray more for our lost world that has to look at such things. When atheists commented on the above referenced video they stated that they were more proud than ever to be atheists.

Thank God for grieving saints who get disturbed about the rise of falsehood and deception around us!
