You can endure...

M
MaryJane Mar 24, 2013

"You can endure a lot of suffering when your heart is set on a purpose--but if your heart is set on comfort, you can't endure any suffering at all." We have the Greatest Purpose in the universe, to Love and Worship The Lord God and Jesus Christ, our King, Savior, Redeemer and to advance His Cause, His Kingdom, His Purpose, prepare His Bride for His Coming. Surely we can choose to press pass the pain and endure for HIM. We will have billions of years of seeing HIS FACE and being thankful we chose to endure such light and momentary things.

Suffering...Jesus Christ gave us his example so that when we walk in the path of suffering, we are following In His Steps. Jesus loved. Therefore, Jesus suffered.

This brings up the importance of having a goal, but we must not be dedicated to just a goal, but to His goal! It would do us well to recognize the symptoms and the cause of breakdown of purpose in individual lives and in churches. Many have allowed certain goals to become the end instead of the means to accomplishing His ultimate goal.

We need to recapture that vision of God's purpose, then we will endure;

By faith he[Moses] forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
(Hebrews 11:27)

In Christ,
