Yes most every conservative christian will say gambling is wrong. But why is it wrong? Scripturally? I belive it is wrong because I can see the spirit behind it that will destroy you and your family. This may be along the same lines or arguments about "moderate drinking" (drinking alcohol, but not getting drunk)? I was just wondering what scripture basis there was. Thanks.
Well I have my own idea of that, I just don't think God would agree we were being good stewards of "HIS" money sitting at the blackjack table especially if one of old slew foots guys took it from us at the table.
The whole atmosphere of gambling is immersed in carnality, the lust for money, bad stewardsip, and a horrible waste of time that severely damage families and relationships. Most importantly, it becomes an idol to those addicted and they set it above God. These are my observations on the subject, all of which disobey Scripture.In Christ,-Eli
