Godly Counsel / Ungodly Counsel

Ps.1:1, Blessed is the man who walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,..

Or,could it mean: that walketh in ungodly counsel?

Could it mean,the person is completely 'ungodly' if he / she give ungodly counsel,..or just being ungodly at that moment ?

* What is Godly counsel ?
* what is ungodly counsel ?

Could it be that we could be cursed, by walking in the counsel of the ungodly.....or ungodly counsel ?...as well as being blessed by not walking in the counsel of the ungodly ?

Almighty God makes differences and distinctions. In the beginning, He made light and darkness, heaven and earth, male and female, work days and the day of rest.

In Psalm 1, God's Word elaborates on distinctions between godly and ungodly.

The sad pattern of the ungodly is to be first walking in ungodliness, then taking a stand in the way of sinners, than seated and settled among the scornful and unloving. Sin is never at a stand-still. Little sins pave the road for bigger sins to follow.

"But solid food belongs to the mature who have their senses exercised to discern between good and evil." (Hebrews 5:14)

In the end, two groups of people shall be eternally separated.

"The ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous." (Psalm 1:5)

"And before him shall be gathered all nations: and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats" (Matthew 25:32)

"...these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal." (Matthew 25:46)

When we consider the absolute stipulations of Psalm 1, we realize that THE MAN par excellence is JESUS CHRIST.

Praise the Lord for making us righteous in Him, so that we may not perish for our sins, but have everlasting life!

I know this might be a little off subject,but you mentioned Life,and it set me to thinking....
That there is a King over us every day,...He never leaves us or forsakes us.
He offers us Life always .We have an opportunity to receive it ....and that
more abundantly.
Jesus said,"the Words that I speake unto you,..they are Spirit and they are Life."
The man that running and knelt down at Jesus' feet, wanting to know,what he must do to inherit Eternal Life...and although the man had done much
righteous things,Jesus knows our hearts,and He knows what to request
of each of us,...it is not always the same think as this man.Did the man refuse ? it said,'He went away sorrowfully....then Jesus told them with what difficulty it was for one that has this that is so dear to the heart,to enter the kingdom of God ( the abode of God )...is it because we will not have "this Man",...who is the King to reign over us.".....
