In our everyday walk as believers in our Lord and Savior,Jesus Christ,we shouldn't depend upon the strength supplied by our feelings but upon the realization of what He has done for us,what He wants to do through us now,and what He has promised to do future.
Filled with all joy and peace,abounding in hope (or the Greek word here means super-abound with more than is necessary)by the power of His Spirit in us.
This is much more than our feelings can provide.Feelings can be deceptive.This is an inward knowing of just who we are in Christ.All that He has accomplished for us.(Our Justification)All that His power can do through us now.(Our Sanctification)All that He will do with us and for us future.(Our Glorification)
Our God is the God of Hope not of hopelessness.May He fill us with His joy,peace and hope and that we won't depend on what this world system attempts to provide with empty measures through our feelings.
