Wow! That is a great case for ditching the cell phone. They are too expensive anyway. We used to get along just fine without them.

My advice would be if you ever hear of an 'untraceable' phone, don't believe it. If you hear of an 'encrypted' phone, don't believe it. If man made it, man can break it. . .and/or has already built-in a hidden backdoor to it etc etc. Think of how the 'cryptofax' at the EU embassies mentioned in the media currently was tapped. . .
Pray. Learn well to hear from God and ask for His guidance on security.
One good anecdote: In 'Heavenly Man' Brother Yun tells the account of escaping from prison and leaving by the airport. The Holy Spirit instructed him to keep absolutely silent in the airport. Bro Yun did! After safely leaving and much later telling his testimony, he found out that had he spoken in the airport, many secretly installed mics to voice-recognition computers would have identified him immediately. . .
