We can promote the health, strength and esteem in another by loving them. 1 Cor 8:1 Love... Builds up.
1 Thess 5:11 God help us to speak what is helpful for building others up. If we choose not to love or build up we can diminish, decrease, dwindle or lessen the other person. Life and death r in the power of the tongue. And love is a action word.

Love involves suffering. Jesus loved. Jesus suffered. Love gives generously and selflessly. Therefore, the expression of pure love is not so popular or common.
Humanity is naturally selfish rather than loving.
There is a natural affection of a mother for her child and this is good. By common grace, kindnesses do happen and evil is restrained.
Religion with power does demonstrate love but carnal religion will not remain pure.
Love is evidence that a person has been born again.
New spiritual birth is a miracle that occurs only among those who also walk on the narrow way that leads to life.
