Any true apostolic movement of the Church always multiplies and grows. This is the economy and will of God that men would come to salvation in Jesus Christ and part of that fruit of conversion is that they would speak of Christ to others. In the Book of Acts we see the Gospel verbally being proclaimed, calling men to repentance and belief in Jesus Christ, in His death and resurrection. It is no different in our day, the same verbal call must be made through written literature and preaching.
The call of the Chinese underground Church is: “Hurry up, share the Gospel!” In so doing they risk their lives to bring others new life and to fulfill the great commission from God. Before the night comes in other countries, will we fulfill the task that God has given us? We need to pray as the disciples did when threatened with beatings and jail: “Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable Your servants to speak Your Word with great boldness. Stretch out Your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the Name of Your holy servant Jesus.”
God answered that prayer in the Book of Acts, He is answering this prayer in the underground Church with signs and wonders today, and God will do so again: “After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the Word of God boldly.”
The Lord is raising up networks of underground gatherings of believers all over the world. Will you consider being a part of such a move of God’s Spirit? He is pouring out new wine in new wineskins.
Though the Lord still works through more rigid denominational groups, there will be a greater openness to the Spirit’s working in these new gatherings where the Lord will be able to accomplish His end time purposes.
Gatherings of believers that hear the Chief Shepherd’s voice clearly.
Such a movement will not just be a meeting you go to but a body of believers you commit to. A Church and kingdom that you labor for everyday.
