Here are some ranking on search engines for specific phrases, I want to check back on them to see if they are improving over time. Clearing up some confusion: so if you say, for example, that "sermon downloads" are ranked first...does that mean that of all the phrases that the search-engine-users type in, "sermon downloads" is the #1 most commonly searched phrase?Sounds kinda stupid now that I've typed it out, but o well. I'd rather get an answer to a stupid question then remain stupified. ;-)It means that if someone types in "sermon downloads" they get a list of sites and I have just found out where www.sermonindex.net is in that search. So if I say that this site ranked 3rd, that means it was the third site from the top on the search results page.Here is a small update as of Oct 13/03:"audio sermons" - Ranked 20th (up 5 spots)"mp3 sermons" - Ranked 3rd (same)"free sermons" - Ranked 23th (down 3)"audio preaching" - Ranked 20th (down 5)"sermon downloads" - Ranked 16th (up 4)This just gives you and idea on how slowly on some keywords the site is climbing closer to the top. What helps I believe is cross-linking. If you have a Christian website please link to www.sermonindex.net. Please also pray that God would increase the amount of people coming to the site for His glory.
