A couple weeks ago I became aware of the implications of what would happen to life if an HEMP 'bomb' would be detonated above the USA. At the same time my mind wandered to Washington D.C. - the seat of our federal government - how they are working hard to control life for its citizens either through electronic surveillance or creating an entitlement mentality with the free handouts made available to its people.
On top of all of this the financial situation of the governments' borrowing and borrowing and spending and spending itself into [eventual] oblivion is totally frightening.
Our freedoms of practicing religion or no religion are being challenged with the one of practicing getting challenged at all levels. Many times the courts have sided with the citizen, but that is changing. It gets wearisome to think one has to resort to the courts to earn the right to live as the constitution promises its peoples.
Then turn around and look at what has happened to the 'churches' in the USA. Perversion is being accepted with harsh words reserved for those who don't - tolerance for all except for those who will stand for TRUTH, for LIFE.
As I pondered these things I understood in a real way how this country is swarming with demons EVERYWHERE, working to destroy humanity. Evil men possess the technology, the equipment to destroy mankind in a moment in spite of their best efforts to protect oneself. Church people, who should be one's best friends are not. The devil is very comfortable sitting in church listening to all the sermons preached there.
As I studied all the probabilities I became very much aware of the restraining power of God. He is in control, TOTAL control. Evil men would have physically destroyed the rest of mankind a long time ago but it did not happen. The event of the nuclear bomb and its power frightened many during the Cold War. Mankind, apart from the infilling of the Holy Spirit, is totally evil and destructive. Only God can restrain such. Looking at the probabilities of how man can destroy life God's judgments as outlined in Revelations look awfully tame, compassionate - God's judgments are aimed at provoking repentance whereas evil mens' aims are to totally destroy mankind.
As I pondered all this I became very grateful that we have nothing to fear because God IS in control. If he wants me dead, he will allow whatever means it takes to accomplish that which is not much. But if he wants me alive I know He will be with us to guide us, comfort us, sustain us until the time when our purpose for living here is finished like Jesus' on the cross: "It is finished" and he died.
God's mercy and grace to life are shining brighter and brighter against the blackness of evil. Praise the LORD!
