Be useful material, …….Remove impurities worthless scum from are lives.
If a man cleanses himself from the latter,…….he will be an instrument for noble purposes,
made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.
faithful believers who desire to be useful to the Master must have a " Solid Foundation"
in Christ Jesus and " must turn away from wickedness " made human instruments for noble purposes are sanctified, useful to their Master and prepared to do good works. Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God. Believers must make a clean break with every form of ungodly compromise and continually resist the sinful desires of the body. We must put to death our sinful deeds by renouncing them and embracing the power of the cross and the Holy Spirit daily as our source of victory and holiness. Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation----but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it. So I say, live by the Spirit,
