Who are we pleasing??

Galatians 1:10……….Am I now trying to win….. the approval of men,... or of God?
Or am I trying to…. please men? …..If I were still trying to please men,
I would not be a servant of Christ.

One can-not be a genuine minister of the gospel and try to please people by compromising the truths of the gospel. When speaking, Paul was not trying to please men but God. All followers of the gospel of Christ must make it their aim to please God.

I Thessalonians 2:4 We speak as men approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel.
We are not trying to please men but God.

Our motive in preaching should always be to seek Gods approval and not that of people. We must Obey God Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men.
