Communicate without ceasing!!

Jesus told his disciples --- They should always pray and not give up Luke 18:1
Be ….. faithful in prayer Romans 12:12
Pray in the Spirit on all occasions Eph 6:18
Devote yourselves to prayer Col 4:2
Watch and Pray so that you will not fall into temptation Matt 26:41

We must persevere in prayer with regard to all matters.
Victory is won by working together with God himself.

The weakness of our human nature, and Satan, will try to cause us to neglect prayer itself or to become distracted. Our warfare against Satan's spiritual forces calls for an intensity in prayer,
Praying in the Spirit on all occasions.

Thank you very much for this post.
I haven't visited SI in quite sometime. I found myself typing Sermon Index in my web browser, I clicked on the general topics and scrolled down to the title that caught my eye "prayer" and opened it up.

As I read your words, quickly at first , then took my time the second and third time around, your words sunk in.

How I needed to hear ( read ) your words today. I myself have fallen into Satan's trap.....becoming sidetracked, too busy, and neglecting prayer more and more.

Your post reminded me that I need to remove myself from the snares of Satan , by doing this, I need to get on my knees before the Lord . In the begining, throughout and ending my day.

Thank you for your words for they encouraged me to get back down on my knees and pray...the place I need to be.
