What happens if you remove His word, and the person walks with Jesus only?
Holy Ghost?
Works for the persecuted.

You have said many of the persecuted don't even have Bibles. That they weep if they are some how blessed and lucky enough to get their hands on one, so that tells me that JESUS HIMSELF with the power of the HOLY SPIRIT is sustaining them. Also please do not forget the strength we have in numbers, remember we are HIS body, and since he very often had the disciples with HIM and spoke about loving and being together I think we can conclude that we have need of one another as well. I imagine in the persecuted churches there is a very deep love for one another, I imagine they would say that the encouraging and loving support of other brothers and sisters in HIM is vital and precious to them.
Just my thoughts
God bless
