Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We are writing this note with such praise and glory to our Lord and His Son Jesus Christ (Philippians 4:19) for all He has done in the last 6 years through many conferences. (Zechariah 4:6) Over 4 years there have been 12 conferences in many nations (USA, CANADA, IRELAND, WALES, SCOTLAND, and NEPAL). As well these conferences have been viewed in over 100+ countries in the world. Starting with Revival Conferences and moving more towards live Simulcast events the Lord always made it clear the direction for each gathering time.
In these 4 years there have been over 50 speakers who were involved in speaking in these conferences and all of these brethren did not receive an honorarium but came trusting the Lord in almost every case. Such a sacrifice from so many brothers in the Lord will be an eternal reward for the strengthening of the body of Christ. Specifically the Lord I believe has spoken through some of these brethren in a very prophetic way to speak of what God is doing in the world as we near the consummation of all things (Ephesians 1:10) and the coming of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 16:27)
SermonIndex has hosted all of these conferences and that means there were a group of brethren who gave of their time to volunteer whether it was moderators or saints serving at tables and many other ways. God used initially brother Don Courville and Gareth Evans greatly to encourage the vision of the conferences in the beginning, who served as moderators. We are thankful for a sense of progression also in this ministry where the Lord was speaking clearly to the body of Christ towards revival, what He is doing in the earth and the need for a revived people of God so a lost world can be reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
A common phrase that the Lord has us say after each conference was we will never have one again. This was out of the desire not to do something that the Lord was not initiating or leading in. But each time the Lord brought the burden back to have a conference and we obeyed. In this same spirit of desiring to do the will of the Father in heaven (John 6:38) we believe the Lord is having us take a step: not to have conferences or simulcasts anymore and that this type of conference meeting is something we are to back away from unless the Lord ever resurrects this in our hearts.
Yet there has been very clear vision the Lord has been speaking to my heart to go in a new direction that the Spirit is leading. The Lord has lead myself as also with a group of brethren to seek to put into a book form some burdens for what is coming for North America and the world in the End Times. We believe that there is coming persecution that will increase and there is growing apostasy in the Church in the West. In response to this book some saints are starting small gathering groups and house churches. The burden in short is for saints, especially who cannot find fellowship, should gather in small house church groups under the Headship of Jesus Christ. In response to this burden we are encouraging believers in many places in North America and other parts of the world to host regional gatherings of where saints can come together for like-minded fellowship. Gathering meetings are autonomous one-time meetings in local areas to encourage saints to meet together in small groups under the Headship of Jesus Christ. Believers will be encouraged to gather in small groups as response to these gathering times and to even start house church weekly meetings as the Lord will lead them.
