Dem Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee Suggests Martial Law to End Government Shutdown

I found this to be very interesting considering the recent brewhaha's over Rick Joyner's comments.

This however is a very left leaning individual with more of a socialist perspective. Opposite end of the political spectrum from Joyner.

I will post the link to the site where the youtube video is at. It may have simply been a slip of her tongue and mean nothing whatsoever. However it is interesting that a congresswoman might have martial law on the mind enough to use those words.

Time will tell.... but I will be listening closely to see if it starts cropping up in the speech of others.

Since the personal wedges have been driven so deep between our 3 branches of government, it has seriously ceased to function. It is the heart of man and the lesson of history that force will be used as the participants attempt to seize control, I am not surprised by Congresswoman Lee's belief that her side launch the early offensive.

Hang on, gonna get bumpy!

I agree, Greg, we in America seem to have gone beyond the natural redemption of the business cycle and the normal political balance of a two party system.

As the whole world backs off from any interest in carrying our massive debt, our Federal Reserve is printing boatloads of money that has no value backing it up. Keynsian economic theory, 180 degrees from the scripture, rules the day at the highest levels.

Coupled with the fierce animosity among those with neither a rational plan to solve problems nor a constituancy willing to work on it, violent force looms as the only option. As in martial law.

There will be a great loss of economic value, and I shudder to think of human life as well.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, and the corollary is painfully obvious.
