There are needs in the social life. Billy Graham, in his book, World Aflame, says we are a nation of sex gluttons. It is true. This is the biggest battle of your life on campus. Billy said in the 1957 convention, "And if you do not win this battle, you are going to lose all around.” I am convinced that Jesus Christ is sufficient for your sex battles, wherever and whatever they may be. I pray you will take some of the Inter-Varsity books on this subject and devour them. But what they say will only be a reality in your life, as you experience the sufficiency of Jesus Christ to meet your emotional longings.
When He meets your need, when you experience victory and know reality, then and only then can you be God’s servant.
