That is a great article, Ginny. Thanks for posting it.

Hard to believe that kids in a Texas public school were told they could not wear Christmas colors (red and green) to school.

There are 'forces" afoot that want to strip cemeteries of all crosses, at least if it is a military cemetery. Something about the "Separation of Church and State" or some such nonsense.

Everyday Evangelism
When I hear this song, it wants to make me cry. I think about how a man was reading a Time-Life magazine in 1958 and read a terrible story about 7 gangsters who killed a teenage boy with polio. David Wilkerson's search for these 7 gangsters led him into a ministry that God used to save many, many lost people in NYC. David Wilkerson established 2 churches in NYC, one in Brooklyn and the other in Times Square. This song was written by the choir director of the Brooklyn Tabernacle. We would not be listening to this song if David Wilkerson did not heed the call to go to NYC to preach the Gospel to the gangsters there. This song is a fruit of his work in New York.

Thanks Sidewalk,

I work at a public school where many of the staff have family members in the military.

I still have the freedom to share items like this with the staff of the entire school district through the school's email network. Many teachers, janitors, administrators, principals and aides will now have opportunity to see and share this.
