Discernment

I frequently meet with a group in my apartment, who go to a different mega church. Their Church wants them to have a smaller group meeting in home and hence they meet. I find them zealous in knowing God. Recently it appears that a famous TV healing preacher from US has visited India and their Church has asked them to attend his meeting. I know that this guy is a false Prophet based on my observation of unbiblical things that I have seen in his ministry. Now when they asked us about attending his meeting, my wife told that we do not believe in him. But after that they continued the discussion on his meetings. My wife wanted me to tell them the discernment that we have towards this guys work and how they are against scripture. But I was of the opinion that until personally they ask me 'why I do not believe in this guy', I will not interfere in their belief.

This raises a question, how should someone who has a discernment deal with this situation? Should the person voluntarily advice them and warn them against this guy?

There are times we are shown a place to separate. However, the Lord must confirm it. I made the mistake of leaving a fellowship too early and it affects your fellowship with Christ and because it was not done in faith it is sin. From my experience and that of close friends that God has moved around to minister to the saints that these times come. Often they are sent to prove the people to see if they love the esteem of God or men. Are you prepared to weep and intercede for these people? Are you willing to have the fire of God in your belly but wish yourself accursed so you didn't have to speak the Word to them? Are willing to stay until God says go? To speak He says speak?
