Treasures of Darkness

"And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel." (Isaiah 45:3)

There were
Treasures in the darkness
That we could never see
Riches to you and me

Darkness came so ugly
And both of us were hit
Who would think that any good
Could come from out of it

Yet God has given to us
Gifts beyond compare
Love, hope and forgiveness
Things we thought weren't there

The treasures in the darkness
Were more than worth the pain
I love you with forever love
Forever love remain
