Talking Out Loud in the Silence

Q
Questor Feb 11, 2014

I live alone, and consequently, have a lot of silence to fill.

This is not really a problem, as I readily speak and sing in tongues, and also love to sing worship songs...those I write with the Holy Spirit, and those that I hear and like.

But I find I also speak a lot out loud to YHVH, and when I am discussing things I am confused about, or that trouble me, I can't help wondering...am I complaining to God?

Am I speaking about others badly if I am working out an irritation or something that troubles me as I talk to Adonai?

When I hurt, or feel badly, and I want to talk things out with myself, is talking out loud going to pull strongholds into my life, or open windows and doors for the Evil One to come in, and use my own weaknesses against me?

It is written that life and death are in the tongue, and I do not want to be talking myself into sin, or giving leeway to the Adversary, but I do not know what is best in this matter.

All comment welcome.

I live alone also and pray and sing in tongues too! It's good to know that I am not alone.

Sister, even if you are complaining, He's a big God and He can handle it. I'd rather complain to Him who DOESN'T spread my weaknesses around than to someone who would and does! Does that make sense? I have no one else to talk to, so He listens and He answers sometimes too!

Just this morning I was talking to Him, crying and whining about a family member, who has known me my whole life and still chosen to spread rumors in the family and out about me. I can't run around to every single person and try to justify myself, so I have to take it to the Lord in prayer and whine to Him! (lol) And when I catch myself, I repent for it. I don't usually break down about it but sometimes the burden is too much to bear and thank God He is there!

You know what? I praise His holy name that He does listen to our deepest fears, our sorrows, our complaints and our joy and praises unto Him!

Hope this helped, God bless you! Also, my email if you click on my profile, feel free to email me!

Have a wonderful day,
Lisa

Questor,
I do not live alone, but sometimes I am provoked wrongly, to no end,...it seems like,I would say,...if I had feathers, they would pick every one
out.....one at a time.( although they love me,I believe)

But last week I learned a very valuable lesson.
In this lesson,I was provoked, very badly in untruth,....I realized, the Lord is my defense, and refrained from speaking,...it made me SO ANGRY !
I went outside and spoke out loud to Him and said,....' Lord,..I do not need to say anything, because I am just,.. SO ANGRY' ! ...and did not.

That night The Lord spoke to me and said,' These things come upon you for a reason, if they never came upon you, there would never be a need for the fruits of My Spirit,to be exsperiened in you' .
* (Love,joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness,kindness,.......

That counsel, was such a blessing,it was worth it all ! ...I am very thankful.

We are in a refining process,...and need to let it have / do it' s perfect work.

And yes,He wants us to commune with Him.....when we are hurt,..happy,...have problems with someone,......
In all things, because we know that He cares and loves us,...It is the building of our relationship with Him.

We talk to Him also, because we are being sensitive about His will in our lives.....His Name, which He has given us,is at stake.

And no,I do not think we need be concerned about talking out loud to Him.
We are giving our voice of things to Him,and He is LORD OF LORDS,...above all,...and is able to keep it safe.

God Bless,
elizabeth

Questor,

May I suggest you ask the LORD about this? It appears to me you are too concerned about technique instead of simply being yourself. God wants us to be real with him and not try to be something we ain't. This is the bottom line. God cannot work with actors but with those that are real, honest and genuine. If you still have doubts yo may want to read Lamentations! or, the Psalms - I consider this the be David's journal of his walk with the LORD. Just know that if you are walking with the LORD and you look around there is a lot out there that will threaten to derail your trust in Him. If you are frustrated, tell him! Angry? tell him! Pleased? Tell him - but be honest with your praise! Get the idea?

Hey, all who posted in response to your question said the same thing, did we not? :-)

God bless.
