Ah, Lord, great and awesome God, keeping covenant and steadfast love with those who love you and keep your commandments, we have sinned and done wrong. Daniel 9:4-5

Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. James 5:16

O God, too often we have failed to speak words of hope. Too often, we have nurtured hatred in our hearts. Too often, we have turned away from the soul in need. Forgive us, Lord. Amen.
