according to the article the church raffled off guns to attract new members. i have no words left, how truly tragic this is to read.

I like the line where they say, "My peace I give unto you." Maybe they have bibles that are written in the New Urban Chicago version, "My piece I give unto you..."
Then there's the line where they say it's not about the guns, it's about telling people who the real Jesus is. That might be an interesting class??
It's sad when a church doesn't have the presence of God, they have to resort to gimmicks like this.
The enemies of God will definitely try to use this as ammunition against christianity.
To be clear though I am not against owning a firearm.
