HOW WE WAGE WAR

In order to conquer
Tis true we must yield
Therein lies the victory
On God's battle-field

If we would receive
Tis true we must give
In the economy of God
This is how we should live

To overcome, it is true
We must suffer defeat
Yet in the depths of our trials
His presence is so sweet

If we then shall live
Tis true we must die
Upon His great faithfulness
We must wholly rely
