There was talk about the rapture using this verse:
"And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.
(Matthew 24:31 NASB)
I read today this verse:
They are coming from a far country, From the farthest horizons, The LORD and His instruments of indignation, To destroy the whole land.
(Isaiah 13:5 NASB)
Where the literal rendition of "farthest horizons" is "end of heaven" (NASB ref)
Just a thought for those interested to note that that biblical phrase is also in the old testament, not necessarily denoting the actual heavens, but the earth.
