I've got reminded of that question in another thread: Does current America have any [real] prophets?

By [real] prophets i do not mean the so called prophetic movement, let's not talk about them, what i mean is someone that sticks as closely to scripture as possible and even opens up scripture for us.

In that regard I listened to a file on my disk that is already a couple of years old, and I was not able to locate it online yet:

it is a discussion between Rick Wiles and Henry Gruver, part of the discussion are ALL "famous people" that had a vision about the future of America in the last 100 years. Get it, it's highly educational. Seems to be a 2007 file, if its not online anymore i'll upload it to a file sharing site. Just ask.

Since Henry is not a household name, but came recommended to me from a source i used to learn a lot from, here an overview of him that has to be studied in order to evaluate why this man of God is different from all of the prophetic movement:

I believe many things David Wilkerson and Leonard Ravenhill said was prophetic.

Ravenhill:

Let him be as plain as John the Baptist.
Let him for a season be a voice crying in the wilderness of modern theology and
stagnant "churchianity."
Let him be as selfless as Paul the apostle.
Let him, too, say and live, "This ONE thing I do."
Let him reject ecclesiastical favors.
Let him be self-abasing, nonself-seeking, nonself-projecting, nonself- righteous,
nonself-glorying, nonself-promoting.
Let him say nothing that will draw men to himself but only that which will move
men to God.
Let him come daily from the throne room of a holy God, the place where he has
received the order of the day.
Let him, under God, unstop the ears of the millions who are deaf through the
clatter of shekels milked from this hour of material mesmerism.
Let him cry with a voice this century has not heard because he has seen a vision
no man in this century has seen. God send us this Moses to lead us from the
wilderness of crass materialism, where the rattlesnakes of lust bite us and where
enlightened men, totally blind spiritually, lead us to an ever-nearing Armageddon.

God have mercy! Send us PROPHETS!

Dear Saint,
Thank you for posting Henry Gruver's interviews. I am acquainted with this man, and he is like Enoch! He has walked and talked with God for over 50 years and is a veritable treasure chest of the acts of the apostles 20-21st century.

Listening to him built up my faith in Jesus Christ, walking by faith and not by sight!

I agree with Greg also, Leanard Ravenhill, Wilkerson, Tozer, Katz, all these men operated prophetically in our generation.
Thank you Lord for these examples!!!

I have seen Henry in person before. He talked about alot of things that made no sense to me at the time and still make no sense. Russian invasion and some decisions made my Prince Charles in government affairs. I didn't know the Royal family had that kind of power. For all I know they are informed on political issues but don't have the power to declare war.

Hi all,
I listened to that 19min link and thought at best long and meandering and at worst it could be just gobbledegook.
The visions Daniel had for instance were described in much a shorter time maybe a couple of minutes at best,
I hope I am not doing him an injustice but it lacked any clarity in my opinion,

May I correct the use of "a voice crying in the wilderness"
I believe God showed me that their is a biblical view of this term and a worldly view.The difference is that the worldly view see's the one in the wilderness as a person who is right but is not listened too and unsuccessful whereas the biblical view is one of the person being right but of everyone listening to them and total success.
