Atheist Alcoholics attempting to remove God from AA program.

Anyone with biblical knowledge who looks at AA's 12 step program will be able to see the connection to the scriptures. That's because it was an evangelical Christian fellowship - at one time. Early on a man, Bill W., managed to get the organization to add the infamous "as we understand him" to the word "God". Things have gone downhill spiritually ever since, while at the same time the worldly success of the program rose. Nevertheless, still too much God talk for these folks:
