Possible new laws concerning hate speech

So i was reading about some of the laws currently being considered concerning "hate speech" and the more i read the more i think these laws will be used to persecute Christians who speak the truth about homosexuality. there are those who want to make it a crime to even share the Bible because it speaks to the sin of homosexuality. i wonder if this is why so many churches in the US have already begun to compromise on this topic?

I can see two issues that qualify as "The abomination that brings desolation," abortion and homosexual activity.

These two are especially dear to the heart of the evil one, it is not unexpected that we will see a mighty effort to silence Christian opposition.
