Truly, I'm stunned and shocked. Never heard anyone give a sermon on the death of many of these beloved New Testament saints.

It gives new meaning to Jesus' words in John 15:19 "If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you."

Revelation 6:9-11

When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God, and the testimony which they had maintained and they cried out with a loud voice saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, will you reframe from judging and avenging our blood and those who dwell on the earth?" And there was given to each of them a white robe, and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their bretheren who were to be killed as they had been, would be completed also.

The list of those who spill their there blood for Jesus continues to grow even in this day. every 3 to 5 minutes it is estimated that someone is martyred for Jesus Christ. Before this day ends over 300 souls will be laid under that alter.

There is much talk about remembering the Jewish Holocaust and Hitler`s slaughter of over 6 million Jews. While this is a great tragedy and should be remembered. I ask who will remember the believing martyrs who will die for Christ this day? I ask again who will remember those believers who will spill their blood for Jesus this day?

Saints let us remember the martyrs in times past and in this present time. The word martyr means witness. May we be those witnesses that will live a dying life for Christ Jesus this day.
