Preaching the message

"If Jesus had preached the same message that ministers preach today, He would never have been crucified." -Leonard RavenhillIt amazes me continually of some speakers on this site that have preached a message of uncomprimising truth but how far we have come from that preaching in a sense a watered down gospel. I think one important way to keep the gospel unwatered down is to preach it from the Holy Spirit and to teach the whole counsel of God (entire scriptures).

I had to drastically slow down my studies and increase my prayer and quiet time because I was struggling to follow the unpredictable moves of the Spirit. My mind was perpetually on what to do next and not on, “what is the Lord saying”? Of course I am not promoting ignorance but just to say that wisdom comes from the Spirit, the Spirit does not come from wisdom.James.
