We need JESUS

As I read the headlines about the latest mass killings in California I have to ask myself will this tragic terrible event cause anyone to look to JESUS and see how desperately this world needs HIM. Every day there are new headlines, of horrible things happening, the days grow darker and evil seems to be gaining ground especially among young people. Now is the time we must be in prayer, seeking GOD and living our lives daily unto to HIM. There is hope in this dark world, but we must be in prayer, we must be looking for every opportunity to share the light and love of JESUS with all those HE gives leading. In a world where we are so bombarded daily with violent, lust filled, cultist, media that is described as entertainment we must be standing firm on the ROCK of CHRIST JESUS and not compromise. My prayer in all of this is people would turn to JESUS and repent. My prayer is that a fallen world would see how desperately they needed JESUS!

We are horrified at these killings but this type of thing occurs with some regularity in some foreign countries and they rarely get noted in the news media - it is business as usual. If this is the case, why are we so alarmed when it happens on US soil? We get in a stew when it happens here and think the end MUST be near but fail to realize this is commonplace in some parts of the world. Why the difference?

Yes these things happen all over the world that is true. That is why I said we need to pray, we need to be in prayer for those who are lost and deceived. The world needs JESUS! I know the world will reject HIM but that doesn't change the need or our need to pray for them...
