SIersA colleague working for CIVIC, Marla Ruzicka, was killed in Iraq yesterday. I met her when CIVIC began as a sponsored organization of my company, the Friends Committee on National Legislation. SHe was a remarkable, fierce humanitarian working to get the U.S. to provide resources and assistance to Iraqi civilians injured in the war.
