I was reading through some writing of Spurgeon and I came across this. How true this simple statement is. JESUS wants and expects our whole hearts, HE wants a heart and life committed to HIMSELF. There can be no room for compromise, no room for living for self. JESUS is either our all and we submit to HIM as such or we are deceived thinking we can have HIM and the things of this world.
