David shared these with me today and I wanted to share them here. One is 18 points, another is a poem, another is an article. As a rejoicing former Catholic, it is my honor to share these things. What the Pope has learned since he diedMack Tomlinson/David Ravenhill1) That he was never the Vicar of Christ2) That he had no claim to the title Holy Father3) That there is no such place as Purgatory4) That infant baptism does not make you a part of the Body of Christ5) That Mary never heard any of his prayers6) That the rosary never worked7) That the pope was never God's mediator, only Christ8) That all the burning of candles will do, is produce smoke9) That he was never infallible10) That all his righteousness was as filthy rags before God11) That his church and HIS church were totally distinct12) That even the 'elect' can be deceived13) That Romanism was wrong in persecuting true Christians14) That man's approval and God's approval are not the same15) That he did not hear "well done thou good and faithful servant"16) That he lead millions into false faith and a false system17) That he received a much hotter welcome than he expected18) That he will receive greater judgmentNow for the poem:Holy SmokeBy David RavenhillHoly smoke - it's black againAs it pours from the VaticanIt's clear the cardinals can't agreeOn who their choice Pope should beThere is no doubt, the man they pickWas chosen based on politic'This ritual still amazes meTheir Pope's infallibility? The Church's head is Christ aloneHe reigns from heaven not from RomeSo search the Scriptures and you'll seeWith God there is 'no vacancy'Position filled. So let's forget the PapacyIt's nothing but IDOLATRY!Now for the article:The Pedophile Pontiff: Pope John Paul IIBy David RavenhillI've been stunned over the past few days following the death of Pope John Paul II by the overwhelming outpouring of praise for his life and legacy. Both Evangelicals as well as one prominent Charismatic leader have expressed their remorse at his passing. What has shocked me that most is the way they have spoken about him. One Charismatic leader refers to him as, and I quote, "A true Saint", "The most remarkable leader of our time", "a man of God", "a leader who blessed and advanced the whole Church and indeed, the cause of Christianity itself" and "one of the greatest men of God of our time".Let me ask you, are these the type of accolades we reserve for the leader of the world's largest pedophile ring in human history, the Roman Catholic Priesthood? Keep in mind it was under the leadership of this "true saint" that some 100,000 young boys were sodomized. This is in the United States alone. One can only imagine the mind boggling numbrs when you calculate the third world countries where the young have no legal means of protection or recourse for such heinous acts. This "man of God" had the power with one stroke of his Papal pen to repeal this demonic doctrine and forever overturn the traditions of men by permitting priests 'to marry rather than to burn'. Instead he chose to "bind" instead of "loose" and so released upon the world tens of thousands of pedophile 'piranha priests' who preyed upon the lives of innocent children leaving them scared and scarred, their lives forever destroyed. Jesus said "It would be better to have a millstone tied around your neck and to be thrown into the sea rather than cause one of these little ones to perish."How can anyone in their right mind call this man, "the most remarkable leader of our time"? Conservative estimates report that close to twenty five percent of Roman Catholic priests are practicing homosexuals, not to mention their lesbian counterparts. I didn't hear the 'pontiff' publicly repent for his actions and the actions of 'his church' in this regard. We also need to keep in mind that prior to Pople John Paul II apologizing for the Catholic Church's persecution of both Protestants and Jews he warned his faithful flock in Mexico to be wary of all Evangelicals. God forbid they should embrace the true gospel of faith in Christ and find themselves free from the chains of sin as well as that of Rome. This man was a true chameleon who knew how to change his colors to suit his audience.Jesus warned us that in these last days we would see a rise of false prophets and teachers which lead me to ask, where does this Charismatic leader really recieve his 'revelations' from? He has certainly left me with some questions. The only real tragedy that has resulted from the death of John Paul II is this: They will appoint another Pope in his place.
