"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Someone once said that what comes from God in a promise should be sent back to Him in a prayer.
Be careful or be anxious for nothing.Just simple requests to Him with thanksgiving and then the promise that the peace of God that goes beyond all power to comprehend will keep or set a guard over our hearts and minds to keep worry out.
God's promises can be so simple to experience but we tend to make them hard because our earthly wisdom just can't comprehend something so simple.God makes our salvation simple,living the Christian life simple and His promise to come back for us and our forever being with Him simple.But faith being so simple is too much for our educated,self-sufficient,prideful,human wisdom to simply take at face value.
Earthly wisdom asks "how" but Godly wisdom looks at "who".
God promises His peace.We should take Him up on it.
