Prayer request for healing for a friend

Have a brother in the Lord, his name is Rodger, has a very bad situation with his hip. He is in his early 30s. About eight years ago he was in a car accident. Already suffering from a family history of other medical issues, he now has severe bone deterioration that has caused the artificial ball socket to move up into the hip. He was on a walker for a year or more and prayed for God to help him endure the pain to walk with a cane. He has even walked some with no aid but it is suspenseful to watch it.

Anyway he went to Vanderbilt U. Hospital today to consult with an orthopedic surgeon. A lot of complications, a lot of damage to bone and not a lot of optimism for a good prognosis. But we wait on the Lord with the promise that those who do will not become weary or faint in their walk.

First step is to see if there is any infection around the ball. Tests were done today and we should know something in a week. Pray for no infection.

Rodg is a very strong guy in my view. He is a sad person in many ways but he never quits. He works in our church food pantry as his ministry and he has a real heart for people to come to Christ. I love him a lot.

He wants to meet me personally to talk. He never asked for anything like that from me and I need to be able to really hear him and the Holy Spirit so I might actually do something helpful for him. Mostly I just listen and encourage but he is probably going to open up more if we meet. His situation is so beyond anything either of us can do. Pray please for him to be encouraged and edified and that I don't say something dumb or that I don't leave unsaid that which he needs to hear.

Thanks

Brother, we will be praying. The Bible says that Jesus is the same Yesterday, and today, and forever. God said that He changes not. The healings that we read about in the Bible are obtainable unto us today.

If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

As for what to say, don't worry.

Matthew 10:19 KJV
But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.

He will give you what to say in the same hour. Just be prayed up. Love you brother. Be blessed.

IF Rodger would agree to allow you and some other brothers/sisters you trust to lay hands on him and pray I would encourage that.

I will pray for Rodger as well.
