Miraculous healing sought

My wife's co-worker, a 26 year old nurse and fitness fan, was diagnosed with a tumor in her thigh last week. Thinking time was on their side, doctors did a biopsy last week. It is malignant. This week, she went to UAB Hospital for treatment, and the tumor has grown significantly in one week. Today, she has suddenly gone into such pain that lots of morphine is being given. Fears are that it has metastasized and that amputation may be imminent.

We have been inviting her to our home meetings as this has spun up suddenly in this young, sweet lady. When we started only three weeks ago, all she knew was she had a small knot in her thigh that was irritating her. But, she is not a believer.

My friends, please pray for Angela. Pray for her salvation. Pray for her to run now to Jesus. Pray for her healing. This medical situation is progressing so inexplicably fast that her time may be short, indeed.

Thanks.

Updating this...

First, Angela is 31 not 26. My misunderstanding. I know she is young.

The cancer metastasized to lower lungs and lymph nodes. She is undergoing a very extreme, unusual regimen of radiation and chemo for five weeks. The doctor said that because she is so fit that he believes she can endure the treatment. Her immune system is suffering as you might imagine. Last night, just as the revival prayer call was set to start....I had hoped to participate....we got a call that Angela's fever had spiked and she was being taken back to the hospital.

My wife and I read to one another aloud the Scriptures. Luke 4 where Jesus quotes Isaiah 61. Luke 7:22. Jairus' daughter and the woman with the issue of blood. James 5.

We prayed that God will heal her and forgive her and save her. I hope you, too, will pray for Angela again.

Tim,

Do you have a Cancer Treatment Center of America within driving distance? One of the area's that they treat is in the area of nutrition, I just wanted to ask about that treatment and if she had given any thought to it.

God bless, I will continue to pray for her.

Sis, I don't know. My wife works with her, and although I know her I do not know her well. My wife is quite close with her as far as work friendships go.

We had started our home meetings with her and some others in mind as people we know and would love to reach with Jesus. She had committed to visit and had not yet done so when her knot/tumor & diagnosis developed quickly.

I am told that she is under care of one of only 100 oncologists in America who treats the kind of cancer she has. She is being treated at University of Alabama -- Birmingham Hospital. It is a top notch research hospital with med school. I am unaware of any nutrition regimens she may be involved with.

Thank you...all of you...for taking her needs to the Lord. Effectual fervent prayers of the righteous avail much.
