Advice to all iPhone users ....

L

My advice to iPhone owners: switch to Android ASAP! When a person leading a corporation makes it clear that he has rejected his Designer's layout and is blatantly going against His design, choosing another design (that his enemy chose for him)... the corporation will eventually fall apart (unless they get straight leadership back). A person CANNOT reject his Maker's design, and expect what he designs and orders to prosper!

Apple CEO Tim Cook came out as gay in a powerful essay for Bloomberg Businessweek.

In the essay, published Thursday, Cook said that he has never denied being gay, but has not publicly discussed his sexuality until now: "So let me be clear: I’m proud to be gay, and I consider being gay among the greatest gifts God has given me."

Likewise with a former chief executive of BP too... anyone in Britain stopped using gasoline?

Homosexuals are in every field. So are thieves and adulterers. Are we going to renounce American citizenship because our government is full of liars, thieves, adulterers, abusers of themselves with mankind, etc.? How far away can we run? If I dig a hole with an Ames shovel, and if the CEO or CFO or board chairman is an atheist or whatever, am I to jump back out and dig another hole with a Christian shovel? Cook is from my state. He is gay. Do I move?

Michael,

In all due respect, attitudes like this is what gives Christians a bad name.

Dolfan, you apparently don’t understand my point. When a corporation is led by someone who blatantly triumphs the cause of perverted design, then within said corporation, there will eventually be rebellions and perversions of whatever designs are initiated by such a leadership. Trying to hold together a company while trying to triumph the cause of perverted design is like trying to hold water in your two hands … eventually your makeshift cup will spring leaks and come apart.

I have personally seen local businesses get overrun by perverted design leadership ("gays” in management), but eventually they went out of business. I was able to see the connection. I don’t know if you are able to. Deep inside of every person there is a God given "reality check” that lets us know that perverted design is not right. Eventually respect for leadership goes … and like a cancer … disarray becomes the norm.

My theory is that if Apple keeps such a CEO, (and especially if it continues to PROMOTE perverted design) what was once considered a good product will lose quality in every aspect and will not even be able to compete. I’m just advising current owners to prepare for the crash to avoid personal frustrations … but if they want to ride it out … it’s their call.

KingJimmy ....

Luke 6:26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

Real Christians will always have a bad name because we don't go along with the norm and hide reality of the intense wickedness of sin ... regardless of how socially acceptable the sin becomes whether it is sodomy, adultery, bestiality, .... and of course any time you discuss the fact that certain consequences come with certain sins ... expect to get a bad name. [Ex: John the Baptist]

Yeah, but real Christians don't creates reasons to attract a bad name and unnecessary reproach. Predicting the demise of Apple simply because the CEO is gay, is well, simply bad theology, and has no basis whatsoever in Scripture.

Apple will fail one day because that's simply what happens to everything in this world. Everything that can be shaken will be shaken. In the meanwhile, don't forget, it is often very wicked men that prosper the most in this world. Indeed, the wealthiest people in this world who head up the most successful and largest companies are often very ungodly men. A homosexual at the top of the company will not change this.

From what I've read Julius Ceasar (100-44 BC) was openly bi-sexual and Roman emperors Hadrian (76-138 AD) and Antinous Pius (86-161 AD) had a homosexual relationship with one another. Yet Christ commanded the multitudes to render to Caesar what belongs to Caesar.

My question is what if all the cell phone company CEOs come out as openly homosexual? Are we to stop using cell phones? What if all the gas station CEOs do the same, the supermarket CEOs, etc? Are we all to become Amish or monk-like on account of that?

Michael,

I hear you, brother. I heard you at first, and I hope you hear, too, what these other brothers and I are saying, too. Don't get caught up in this Apple drama. Okay, Tim Cook is gay. He is perverted in his heart and leads a business. Welcome to America? The whole of capitalism is built on perverted men. I don't know how we get away from it. But, be sure, that if Apple falls apart, I'll be on the lookout for another phone.

That corrupt, perverted men ruin a good thing is certain, and you're right. It's the big crash of the last great carbon footprint (2 Peter 3:10) that I want to avoid; I think I can live in the joy of the Lord if Apple rots to the core and I have to use a flip phone --- or even a rotary dial!! Or two cans and a tight string!!

Please don't fret over this. Pray for him. Pray for everybody. The whole world is going to hell at warp speed. Let's me and you pray that we live worthy of the calling we've been called to and that we love Jesus so that we obey His great commission and great commands. Let's avoid the wrath of God and aim at the worship of God for all eternity.

I have absolutely no use for cell phones anyway... If someone wants to contact me they can phone me at home. No expensive, cancer causing ball and chain for me, thanks. (By the way, anyone notice how some people have their faces literally buried in those things every waking moment?)

Steve Jobs stepped down 08/2011 and according to your logic Apple should already be going under and we know that that is just not true.

Brother Michael, this might be a tad bit hard to understand but we live under the New Covenant where the sun shines on the unjust as well as the just.

Maybe the title should have read:

"Advice to all Christians" employed by a homosexual, working with a homosexual, or have any customers that are homosexual, should leave your jobs at once. That should leave a lot of unemployed Christians, and make room for all the illegal aliens, that way the devil could kill two birds with one stone.

Greetings all, hope everyone is doing well on this evening.

Oracio, you pointed out the perfect Scripture. One I would like to bring out is

Matthew 5:16 KJV
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

A light isn't noticed unless its surrounded by darkness. The CEO of Apple is an abomination to God. We know that and he knows that. We must pray and seek God for His salvation. But until then, I want to turn your attention elsewhere.

This reminds me of a story I once heard.

An old widow was down her knees praying one afternoon. She said God you said that you would supply all my needs according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Lord I need some food, I have none.

Her neighbor who was an atheist, heard her praying and thought to himself, I will play a trick on her. He headed to the store and bought a bunch of groceries. After he returned he laid the groceries on her front porch, rung the door bell and hid in the bushes. The widow opened the door and upon seeing the groceries starting shouting and praising God.

About that time the atheist man jumped out from behind the bushes laughing at her. That wasn't God, he told her. That was me that got them groceries and brought them Here. Without missing a beat the old widow replied sometimes God has to use the devil to bless us.

My point?

Apple is an ungodly company, yet God has used it for the furthering of His Kingdom. Facebook and Twitter were created by worldly men and women to further their own agendas but God has taken these tools and given us the ability to post Scriptures and Bible verses for all the world to see.

How's the Scripture go? The Lord taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

One day the elements will melt with a fervent heat. Apple will fall, Android will fall, everything will burn up. There will be nothing left. Until then, pray for the leaders and CEO and every lost person in general but take advantage and use these tools to shine forth the light of Christ and bring glory to God.

Love you all.

Where is all this hate/strife/judgementalism coming from?

It's not coming from God. It's not coming from the Father.

Let us remind ourselves that God is RICH is mercy.

The woman caught in adultery. Jesus responded 'He who is without sin. Cast the first stone.'

Jesus didn't leave Israel even though it was covered in wickedness. Instead, He died for it. Laid down His life for it. Let us be like Jesus, not the Accuser.
