Greetings all, hope everyone is doing well on this evening.
Oracio, you pointed out the perfect Scripture. One I would like to bring out is
Matthew 5:16 KJV
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
A light isn't noticed unless its surrounded by darkness. The CEO of Apple is an abomination to God. We know that and he knows that. We must pray and seek God for His salvation. But until then, I want to turn your attention elsewhere.
This reminds me of a story I once heard.
An old widow was down her knees praying one afternoon. She said God you said that you would supply all my needs according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Lord I need some food, I have none.
Her neighbor who was an atheist, heard her praying and thought to himself, I will play a trick on her. He headed to the store and bought a bunch of groceries. After he returned he laid the groceries on her front porch, rung the door bell and hid in the bushes. The widow opened the door and upon seeing the groceries starting shouting and praising God.
About that time the atheist man jumped out from behind the bushes laughing at her. That wasn't God, he told her. That was me that got them groceries and brought them Here. Without missing a beat the old widow replied sometimes God has to use the devil to bless us.
My point?
Apple is an ungodly company, yet God has used it for the furthering of His Kingdom. Facebook and Twitter were created by worldly men and women to further their own agendas but God has taken these tools and given us the ability to post Scriptures and Bible verses for all the world to see.
How's the Scripture go? The Lord taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
One day the elements will melt with a fervent heat. Apple will fall, Android will fall, everything will burn up. There will be nothing left. Until then, pray for the leaders and CEO and every lost person in general but take advantage and use these tools to shine forth the light of Christ and bring glory to God.
Love you all.
