My family and myself will be moving to Malaysia at the beginning of next month and I will be attending school there for the next 3 years. We will be living about 2 hours north of Kuala Lumpur and approximately 45 minutes south of Ipoh. I was wondering if anyone knows of any Christians/Churches in any of those areas where we would be able to have good fellowship. Traveling 2 hours wouldn't be a problem for us.

You will likely find some churches in your area - be it small gatherings or a church affiliated with larger denominations. The Methodist denomination in particular is quite widespread in Malaysia, and is evangelical in doctrine.
My impression is that people usually attend gatherings near their place of residence. However, if you find yourself in Ipoh, you can check out Canning Garden Methodist Church.
