Pharisees preach things without living it first.Matthew 23:3-4.
So does this mean there are a lot of Preachers out there that could be called Pharisees?

I think even the best of us fall into anyone one of these things from time to time, whether preacher or lay person. I know I am guilty of several of these myself and though it definitely isn't a "feel good" list, by looking at the opposite of each I am reminded and encouraged as to how I should live to honor my Father in Heaven. Thanks brother Greg for the post! And a most happy and blessed Thanksgiving to everyone!

Wow. This is a really good comprehensive compendium on the sinful characteristics of Pharisees. Its very revealing that the impurity in our hearts expresses itself in so many forms. We should be alerted to hidden impurity in us whenever we manifest such symptoms. Thank you. There are lots to ponder here

Amen brother, Many of these things have been in my heart at some point in my Christian walk, may we not give a resting place to any of these sins and attitudes but please our Heavenly Father in all things.
