What do people think of David Sterns Translation ?as I like it.
Hi Deltadom,Having not read through it and am only familiar with brief excerpts I will refrain from too much comments; though I am quite familiar with Stern's New Testament commentary and the Jewish Roots topics that are brought out. I would say that using such tools as an 'aide' would be OK, but sticking with a more literal translation of scripture overall would be a good thing. Someone once said that much of all this is like eating watermelon- you always have to be careful to spit out the seeds. Any specific questions on Bible topics or names used over against say the KJV?God Bless,-Robert

If you want to search the translation you can go to crosswalk, I was just interested in peoples view as I think it is an unusual perspective on the bible and try and read numbers in this version in church!!I do love the KJV, not as much as Jesus
